Guidance

Video link

Paste the original YouTube or Vimeo video link. Archive the video itself here; use Post for a publication about it.

Title

Use the video’s published title. Keep an unknown title empty rather than inventing one.

Artists & Collectives

Add who the Record is directly by. A member’s work already appears on their Collective’s page; add the Collective only when it is credited itself.

Published date

When was this video originally published? Enter only the precision you know: year, month or exact day. Leave unknown parts empty rather than guessing.

Description

Briefly describe the material and useful context. Keep it factual; put evidence in Sources and private review questions in the reviewer note.

Cover image

An optional image used to represent the Video, such as its thumbnail. Upload only an image you have permission to use; it does not replace the original video link.

Image notes

Use each image’s note for what it shows, a visible detail or credit context. Keep notes specific to that image; add evidence links in Sources.

Add what you know. Moderators help with the rest.
