About

Modeseum

Modeseum is a community archive and tracker for artist merch: one record per product, built to hold the details that actually matter to collectors.

Why this exists

Collector knowledge is scattered. It lives in old screenshots, deleted store pages, half-maintained trackers, Reddit posts, Discord messages, and in people's heads. Store pages go down, posts get deleted, spreadsheets get abandoned, things get forgotten.

Modeseum exists to make that knowledge durable, searchable, and correctable. Collectors already know that the details matter, so Modeseum is built to make sure that the knowledge survives.

How it works

Every item has one record. Variants are listed separately so nothing gets blurred together. Details and release context are attached to each item, and missing information is marked as missing rather than being guessed.

Anyone can help improve the archive by contributing missing items, adding artists and brands, suggesting edits, uploading better images, or adding stronger sources. Contributions are reviewed so the archive can grow without losing trust.

Collections

Your Modeseum collection is yours to use however you want. Keep it private as a personal record of what you own and what you're after, or make it public and share it with other collectors. Either way, every item connects to its archive record, with the variant, release context, and all other details already attached.

Who's behind it

Built by one person who got tired of merch information and collector knowledge disappearing. The purpose is to give communities a real home for their knowledge, and to become the number one resource for merch collectors.

Get involved

The most useful early contributions are corrections, missing items, and better evidence. If you can name what's wrong or what's missing, contribute it. That's how the archive gets better. For bugs, broken pages, or anything that feels off, use the contact form.
